蕈蚊，双翅目(Diptera)蕈蚊科(Mycetophilidae)和尖眼蕈蚊科(Sciaridae)昆虫的统称。形小，似蚊，幼虫取食真菌。尖眼蕈蚊科成虫的两侧复眼几乎互相接触，翅通常为暗黑色。尖眼蕈蚊属(Sciara)的幼虫乳白色或灰色，在寻食或准备化蛹时列队迁移，行进路线呈蛇形，队伍宽1公分(0.4吋)。某些蕈蚊科和尖眼蕈蚊属昆虫侵害蘑菇菌床，有时使之完全毁损。小麦尖眼蕈蚊(S. tritici)危害小麦的根。
